Eric Agnello, CEO RD bud

Eric Agnello – graduate of Ecole Universitaire d’Ingénieurs de Lille (Engineering University of Lille, France) and Institut de la Construction, de l’Environnement et de l’Urbanisme (Institute of Construction, Environment and at the University of Lille). He has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, mostly inmanaging, but also in tendering and customer acquisition. He started his career in 1988 as a member of the appraisal department of Rabot Dutilleul. In 2001 he took up the position of the Chief Commercial Officer in RD bud Sp. z o.o., a Polish subsidiary of Rabot Dutilleul. Since 2005 he has held the position of its Chief Executive Officer.
RD bud Sp. z o.o. operates in the field of general contracting of turnkey construction of shopping
centers, hotels, offices, as well as logistics, industrial and residential buildings. It also carries out renovation projects and is involved in green building in accordance with sustainable development rules.

Frederic Le Fichoux, Partner, Head of Hotel Transactions - Continental Europe at Cushman & Wakefield

Frédéric Le Fichoux is a partner at Cushman & Wakefield. He is leading the hotel transactions’ teams in Continental Europe and supporting the hospitality team in Central & Eastern Europe.

With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Fred has an extensive knowledge of the hotel real estate sector and is a recognized expert in the European market. He has spent the last 10 years in managing and growing the hospitality team for the CEE region at Cushman and Wakefield. His latest responsibilities are focus on hotel transaction advisory and brokerage services across continental Europe.

Fred has advised on the acquisition and disposal of over EUR 1.2 billion of hotel transactions in Europe, over the past years. He holds a MBA in Hospitality Management from Cornell University and ESSEC Business School. He is also Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 2010. 


    Eduard de Gispert, Director of EMEA Expansion at Barcelo Hotels & Resorts

Current responsibilities

Eduard de Gispert joined Barceló Hotels & Resorts 16 years ago, and currently manages the expansion & development activities for the EMEA division at BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS.


Eduard features more than 18 years working at the hotel sector. He started his career at HOTELES HESPERIA in Barcelona as the Managing Director’s deputy being the controller and also studying new expansion projects. Then he joined to BARCELÓ HOTELS & RESORTS with same position reporting to the City Hotels Division’s Managing Director, and with special dedication to the expansion activities. At that time, Barceló Group only featured 7 city hotels overall. In 2006 he was appointed EMEA Expansion Director for the city hotels and later on for holiday hotels as well, position that he currently manages. Nowadays the City Hotels Division has 39 hotels. Furthermore, Eduard has been strategic consultant at DELOITTE in BARCELONA.


Eduard has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineer by the Telecommunications University from UPC Barcelona, and completed his postgraduate in 1998 at the MBA IESE in Barcelona.


 Lukas Hejduk, Head of CEE Hotel & Leisure Practice, CMS 

Lukas Hejduk is the CEE Head of the Hotels & Leisure sector in CMS. Over the last ten years he has advised on number of hotel investments in the Czech Republic, CEE, UK and Africa. Lukas is also a head of Real Estate & Construction team at CMS Prague. He advises on all aspects of real estate mandates including real estate M&A, construction projects, development, leasing, sale and lease-back transactions and greenfield investments. He specialises in complex property transactions and has extensive experience of acting for international funds, private investors, developers, insurance providers and banks.


Monika Hilm,Owner, MH advisory

Monika is a driven leader with ability to motivate and positively influence others to perform. She can support when there is a need for fundamental change to the way management thinks, and there is a need to improve communicate and bringing teams together.

She has 20 years in the hospitality industry; specialist areas are inspirational leadership, revenue & business development. She has worked for independent hotel owners as managing director for 3 hotels; Parkhotel Praha, Villa Schwaiger and Hotel Rehavital in Czech Republic as well as chains like Hilton, Seaborne and Westin. Monika has a BSc in Hotel Management from Oxford Brookes, and a partial BA in Psychology & Marketing from American College in Singapore.

 Lukas Hochedlinger, Managing Director Central & Northern Europe, Christie & Co

Lukas opened the Vienna office of Christie & Co in 2010 and has been responsible for the successful expansion and growth of the company in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe since. In 2017 he was appointed Managing Director Northern and Central Europe with the aim of strengthening and growing the brand in European core markets such as Germany and Scandinavia with regard to hotel transactions.

Before joining Christie & Co, Lukas worked at KPMG Real Estate, Leisure & Tourism CEE in Budapest. He successfully completed more than 100 advisory mandates including valuations across Europe, feasibility studies, market and product analysis as well as operator searches and hotel transactions. Prior to this he worked as Development Manager for RIMC, a hotel management company in Hamburg, where he gained in-depth knowledge of the German hotel market.

Besides having worked on Germany/Austria/Switzerland as well as CEE, Lukas also gained oversees experience in places such as the Caribbean or the USA. He holds a degree in Tourism Management & Leisure Industry from the University of Applied Sciences IMC Krems as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate from Danube University Krems. Lukas is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer.


Jakub Klimczak, Business Development Manager, STR Global 

Jakub oversees STR’s business development in the Central and Eastern European markets. Based in London, he frequently visits the region to meet with hotel operators and spread awareness of STR’s benchmarking programme. Jakub previously worked in revenue management for various properties in London, including Intercontinental Hotels Group and Hilton. He holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration from City University of Seattle and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the University of Westminster. Jakub regularly attends and presents at STR client events as well as industry conferences.

 Adam Konieczny, Development Director Eastern Europe Louvre Hotels Group

Adam Konieczny joined Louvre Hotels Group in May 2017 as a Development Director for Poland and Eastern Europe. His goal is to develop the brands of the group through franchise, management and lease contracts in the region.

Previously he was a Country Head Poland at Christie & Co. Based in Warsaw, he was responsible for identifying hotel opportunities across Poland and CEE for the development and expansion of the company in the region. He has been involved in a number of advisory and valuation assignments as well as operator search and section processes. In 2016 Adam was involved in sale of two 4-star hotels in Wrocław and Gdańsk on behalf of an American fund.
Prior to Christie & Co, Adam worked several years as a Senior Consultant in the hospitality area, at DTZ´s (now Cushman & Wakefield) hospitality department in Warsaw.

Adam Konieczny has a Master of Arts in Mangement from Warsaw School of Economics and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He also obtained a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Invesments and Asset Management from Cornell University. Adam is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).




Thomas Landen, Marketing Manager at Revinate 

Thomas Landen is the Director Global Field Marketing at Revinate. Within his position he is responsible for extending Revinate’s thought leadership, driving overall marketing operations and building and maintaining relations with hoteliers. Prior to joining Revinate Thomas gained more than ten years of international marketing and sales experience in the hospitality industry and worked at landmark hotels like The Fairmont San Francisco and St. Andrews Bay in Scotland. 

 He speaks frequently at key industry conferences and is a visiting lecturer at Hotelschool Maastricht for the topic hotel technology and marketing. Thomas holds a degree in Hotel Management and Marketing and serves as an advisory board member for the Academy of International Hospitality Research (AIHR) and Cornell University University. He lives in Amsterdam with his family.

Josh Littman, Vice President Development, Hardrock Hotels & Casino

Based in London, Josh Littman is responsible for expanding Hard Rock’s portfolio of hotels and casinos in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which involves the sourcing of opportunities, negotiation of transactions and engagement during the planning stage for any new projects through to pre-opening. With extensive experience in hotel and mixed-use real estate developments throughout the world, Mr. Littman has brought strong development skills to the firm, built up over his 18-year career with companies such as AECOM, Mandarin Oriental and Kerzner International.



Johannes Menge,  Global Rollout at Zoku Worldwide

Johannes Menge is, as part of Zoku’s global rollout team, responsible for the expansion of Zoku into DACH, CEE and Scandinavia, based out of Amsterdam. In July 2016, he joined the team which today consists of seven people wholly focused on Zoku’s expansion strategy to grow the brand into a global network of hotels over the next 10 years.
Johannes has 8 years’ experience in hotel operations and hotel real estate. Before joining Zoku, he worked at CBRE Hotels in Dublin within consultancy and valuations. Prior to that, Johannes worked in various operations and corporate finance positions with Kempinski in Germany, China and Switzerland.
Johannes has a BBA in International Hospitality Management from Hotelschool The Hague.
Zoku is a re-invented aparthotel that facilitates living and working for the travelling professional in an innovative way, creating a new category in the hotel industry. Zoku’s first flagship property is located in Amsterdam, and its ambition is to grow its presence into a global network of 50 properties under operation (leased or managed) over the next 10 years.

 David Nath, Head of Hospitality CEE, Cushman & Wakefield

David holds a Master degree from International Prague University with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. David’s responsibility at Cushman & Wakefield is to lead the Central & Eastern European hospitality team (investment, valuation, development advisory, and financing solutions). Prior experience includes acting as conducting officer for alternative investment vehicles such as Real Estate Hospitality Funds in Luxembourg as well as 7 years of leading managerial experience with private equity Investment Company focusing on development and operation of hotels in Europe.



Tomasz Ostrowski, Partner at White & Case LLP

Tomasz Ostrowski, partner, heads the Banking & Finance practice in the White & Case Warsaw office. He focuses on acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance as well as general syndicated corporate finance in Poland, as well as in other parts of CEE. He advises banks, borrowers, sponsors, investment funds and venture capital/private equity funds on numerous Polish and international financing transactions, including: real estate finance transactions including, among others, hotels, commercial, industrial and warehouse projects; acquisition finance transactions; and project financetransactions. Tomasz has also worked on a number of high profile restructurings in Poland. Sophie Richard, Asset Manager Europe & UK at M&L Hospitality

Sophie Richard is the Asset Manager for M&L Hospitality in Europe, overviewing 9 properties in 4 different countries. Sophie joined M&L in 2016. Prior to this Sophie worked at BNP Paribas Real Estate Hotel and was based in Paris. Previous to this she was at HVS in Madrid. During her time at HVS she worked on over 250 assignments in Europe, Africa, the West Indies and the Middle East. She has extensive experience in mixed use developments. Prior to that, Sophie held various operational hospitality roles in the United States and Europe.

Originally from Nice, she holds a bachelor degree from Institut Paul Bocuse and an MBA from IMHI (Essec Business School -France- and Cornell University -USA-). As part of her personal development she joined the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and became a chartered surveyor in 2009.


Magdalena Sekutowska, Director - Development Eastern Europe at Hilton Worldwide

A graduate of the University of Michigan (BA) and New York University (MBA), Magdalena Sekutowska has both finance and development experience.  She worked on financing numerous energy projects in North America at Credit Suisse Investment Banking.  She then moved to structure real estate projects in North America and the Caribbean at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.  After developing full-service hotels in North America, for the last eight years Magdalena has developed hotels at Hilton Worldwide in Europe. She is currently based in Warsaw and her focus is on developing the Hilton portfolio of hotel brands in Central and Eastern Europe, mainly in Poland, the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Tomasz Wuczyński, CEO, Grupa Plus Architekci

Active architect since 1995. Alumni of the faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of Warsaw University of Technology, and scholar of the University Of Detroit School Of Architecture. His design philosophy stems from collaboration with senior of polish architecture — Stefan Kuryłowicz, both as a student and later on as an employee.

After designing Poziom 511 Design Hotel & Spa he was the managing director for first two years of its operation, establishing its  position at the Polish boutique hotels market and gaining a number of industry awards.
